Hello, my name is Darrell Clanton. I am the owner and operator of Robin Hood Outfitters. I have been a hunter and fisherman in this part of Illinois all my life. I have bow hunted here since 1965. I know all my properties like the back of my hand because, I have hunted them all myself. I have always treated the landowners with great respect; That is one of the reasons I have so much property available to me now. I have learned in my years of experience, that knowing bedding areas, food sources, rub-lines, and terrain all play a major role in being able to position yourself between where the buck is, and where he wants to go. With that said, I feel I am never to old to learn. Believe me, some of my hunters have taught me a lot throughout the years. It is my personal guarantee that I will do everything that I can to see provide you with the first-class hunting experience that you deserve.

     We have recently added professional guide Josh Wentling to the Robin Hood Outfitters team. Josh specializes in whitetail deer scouting, hunting, and tracking. He also has experience in guided fishing and waterfowl hunting. Josh has won a tremendous amount of fishing tournaments, and shot several Pope and Young whitetails. Mr. Wentling has hunted in Nebraska, Iowa, and previously ran a very successful camp in North Platt, NE. Josh is also a licensed guide in his home state of Maryland where he has been a successful guide for whitetail deer, and waterfowl hunting for the last 5 years. Josh is a diehard bow hunter, and lives to chase big whitetails.

     Our Outfit was founded in 2000 with the idea of having an outfitting business that would offer a wide range of activities for the serious hunter. It is my personal goal to see that all my hunters go home satisfied, and assured that I gave 100% of my efforts to make their hunt a successful one.  With the exceptional deer population in Illinois, hunters stand a great chance of taking home a trophy of a lifetime.

     Robin Hood Outfitters suggests that you fill your doe tag while your here to help with the control of the deer population in Illinois. Robin Hood is a hunter-friendly outfitter.
